War!

[ Distorted Mood: Distorted ]
This is a sad, but inevitable time in RevolutionSF history. I tell you this, my people, to make you secure and prepared for what lies ahead.

Due to unchecked agression and generalized weirdness along our borders I have declared a Flame War on fellow RevSF blogger Jack the Ripper.

I know, let it sink in. It will be easier over time I promise.

His unchecked silly and often halarious postings in the threads can no longer go unanswered. He threatens the very long and over thought out posts about largely unwatched tv shows and largely unread books that we all hold dear.

This I will not let stand, and you MachineNation can not let stand either.

For the very sake of our nerdity I ask you to stand with me, for this struggle will be long, and only vaugely coherent.

Good night and "Bob" help us all.

Having a TV Party Tonight

[ Amused Mood: Amused ]
The current state of TV is a good one. There are a number of shows that are presently rocking the house. Here, currently, is my list of shows that I am following:

-Dexter. This show is nothing short of awesome; the characters, the plot material, the dialog…every aspect of this show is running on all cylinders. If you aren’t watching it you should be.

-Smallville. Erica Durance in skimpy clothes…I can’t look away.

-Supernatural. The show still has the same sense of fun from the first season with an added pathos sprinkling, very very watchable.

-LOST. I’m really liking the continuing revelation of the Others as being very fallible and somewhat divided.

-Jericho. Kansas armeggedon, how could I NOT watch?

-The Office. Still one of the most consistently funny and uncomfortable shows on TV.

-Frisky Dingo. Awesome X is pee pants funny.

-The Venture Brothers. Go Team Venture! The hiatus is going to feel like eons.

-Battlestar Galactica. Best thing on SciFi since Farscape.

You have your orders, go forth my minions..go forth and…
