I’ve just started exploring the possibilities of encasing LEDs in plastic resin. The downside is that the resin, until it sets, smells like the Houston suburb of hell. Plus it’s incredibly expensive, especially after you add in the costs of the necessary safety equipment. <\/p>\n

But it’s pretty neat looking. This week I built a lighting base for a beam tree<\/a> I happen to have around the house.<\/p>\n
