Last night I was watching "Danger: Diabolik", a Mario Bava film about a suave international thief who steals things while wearing a creepy latex bondage mask.

\nOne of the plot points is that the government has to pour the world’s largest gold ingot with the logic that it would be so heavy that "it would be impossible for anyone to steal it."<\/p>\n

Of course it gets stolen.<\/p>\n

Then today I saw this article that Japan has poured the world’s largest gold bar.<\/a>
