So today my good friend The Artisan came over to watch Geeklet so I could garden.
SWEET!!!!
I got some stuff done, but there is always more to do.
Specifically:
1) watered the plants I picked up Saturday
2) started weeding the vegetable garden
3) filled two of my frost protectors filled
3) got the soaker hose set up on two of the flower beds that are under the overhang and therefor don’t get enough rain. Will turn that on after Geeklet finishes his lunch.
4) got the downspout on the northeast corner of the house pointed to the rainbarrels to catch the expected rains
The Artisan even managed to get the dishes caught up and help me get dinner in the slowcooker.
She is a special person and I am lucky to have her as a friend.
