In the secon of the "Alphabet Books", Sue Grafton has Kinsey Milhone investigating the disappearance of a wealthy widow. What starts as a simple case becomes complicated as she peels back the layers. Kinsey gets caught up in mysterious break-ins, rude sub-letters, teenage drug dealers and bridge playing seniors. The climax is satisfying and nailbiting.
This book is better than the first one (which is a good book). I am looking forward to reading the third book.
