This books is the fourth and final installment in Tamora Pierce’s Circle of Magic Series. As the name implies it focuses on Briar, the former pickpocket turned plant mage. He, along with his mentor and teacher, Rosethorn, must help to battle a magically created plague.
This book is full of rich story telling and world building on Pierce’s part. It easily accessible, and a very good read.
