Vigalondo was awarded a $3500 editing system from AMD\/Dell and a $1000 cash prize. The best part is that by winning this award, <span style=\"font-style: italic\">Timecrimes<\/span> might actually get US distribution and a DVD release, meaning that everyone can see this amazing film.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.revolutionsf.com\/bb\/weblogs\/upload\/16\/203994954246fe6d97bd8bc.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In other awards, the Chilean martial arts picture <a href=\"http:\/\/fantasticfest.bside.com\/2007\/?_view=_filmdetails&amp;amp;filmId=32865871\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"postlink\"><span style=\"font-style: italic\">Mirageman<\/span><\/a>  won the Audience Award. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.revolutionsf.com\/bb\/weblog_entry.php?e=564\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"postlink\">creepy<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/fantasticfest.bside.com\/2007\/?_view=_filmdetails&amp;amp;filmId=27025039\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"postlink\"><span style=\"font-style: italic\">Offscreen<\/span><\/a> won the Fantastic Film Award.  <a href=\"http:\/\/fantasticfest.bside.com\/2007\/?_view=_filmdetails&amp;amp;filmId=28759057\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"postlink\"><span style=\"font-style: italic\">Exte: The Hair Extensions<\/span><\/a> won the Horror Feature Award.  Several short film competitions were awarded as well.
