According to Bell Labs: "At 11:31:30pm UTC on Feb 13, 2009, Unix time will reach 1,234,567,890."<\/p>\n

That’s right at approximately 5:31 PM CST, the UNIX epoch (which began on January 1, 1970) measured in seconds will reach the sequential number 1234567890. Beyond being a very nerdy and very cool fact, this number doesn’t really signify anything but it didn’t stop Jon "maddog" Hall from writing a humorous piece<\/a> about the momentous occasion occurring on Friday the 13th.<\/p>\n
