In the same\u00a0February issue of\u00a0Locus<\/em><\/a>\u00a0where\u00a0Gardner Dozois reviewed\u00a0Rayguns Over Texas<\/em><\/a>, he included T<\/strong><\/em><\/a>he Apes of<\/strong><\/em> Wrath<\/strong><\/a> among his recommended reprint anthology reads for 2013.<\/p>\n

The best reprint anthology of the year was Twenty-First Century Science\u00a0Fiction<\/em>, edited by David G. Hartwell & Patrick Nielsen Hayden. There were\u00a0also two big reprint anthologies for fans of the time-travel story,\u00a0The Time Traveller\u2019s Almanac<\/em>, edited by Ann VanderMeer & Jeff\u00a0VanderMeer, and The Mammoth Book of Time Travel SF<\/em>, edited\u00a0by Mike Ashley, and a book of ape stories, The Apes of Wrath<\/strong><\/em>,\u00a0edited by Richard Klaw. There was also a collection of stories\u00a0written at the Clarion West Writers Workshop, Telling Tales: The\u00a0Clarion West 30 th Anniversary Anthology<\/em>, edited by Ellen Datlow.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
