Kirk. A few years later, Kirk quits Starfleet and along with his engineering friend, Montgomery Scott, purchases a freighter which he names Bounty. Pike is delighted to be reunited with Kirk and amazed at the presence of Colt. Learning that Colt\u2019s temporal integrity is decaying and she needs to be returned to her own time before she dies, Pike agrees to return them to Klingon space.
