[ Mood: Sleepy ]
[ Currently: Watching My son playing ]
So I recently finished the second book of the Honor Harrington series and found that it was an enjoyable book.
This installment finds Honor in charge of a new H.M.S. Fearless, now a heavy cruiser, as well as a whole taskforce. She is the military lead for a diplomatic mission to Grayson, a planet whose attitudes towards women can only be described as backwards.
Honor must fight against the inherant sexism in the star system, while helping negotiate a treaty and fight off the Havenite threat.
A good book, with the usual attention to detail that Webber is good at. Honor develops more as a character in this book. Making mystakes and having to pay the price for it.
I have already order book three from the library.
