Answers from Subspace : Garage Sales, Dating

Mon Aug 30, 2010 12:27 pm

Commence dispensing wisdom now.

Quote:
What is the best nerd find at a garage sale?

There is no such thing.

This is a myth perpetuated by the usually inestimable Big Bang Theory episode where they found a One Ring movie prop at a garage sale.

That does not happen. You will spend hours upon hours trudging through dusty bowls and clothes worn by someone's grandparents looking for super nerdy things. They are not there.

Take it from one who knows. The nerdy things that people allegedly find are hallucinations brought on by elderly microbes floating throughout the sale area.

Is it OK to date outside the geek culture?
