I'm in the YAY! column for this one. I loves me some Dr. Fate. This whole deal looks like fun on the bun.

About 45 minutes into it so far. My eyes popped out of my head 4 times. It is nerd overload, with cameos and references and easter eggs. Will report back.

Deanna: I'm not quite strong enough to watch it again yet, but I made it through the whole thing.

My review is up here:

Dammit. I am in a weird situation. I had gotten to the point where I didn't care what happened next on this show, and I really still don't.

But now I'm tempted to go back and see what I missed. Crying or Very sad

You don't have to care about the show. Just watch. It's LIVE ACTION DR. FATE.

I did watch! But now all the stuff they were talking about that has happened is stuff I want to see, but I don't want to be addicted to this show anymore. I had gotten this Beppo the Supermonkey off my back and it's trying to crawl back on!

Here's what I want: A DVD collection that just has all the good episodes of Smallville. I do not want to own or wade through all the filler eps between awesomeness like Green Arrow or the Justice Society.

Oh and any episodes where Chloe or Lana, like, appear in their underwear or something.

Total geek overload!!! The big portrait sent shivers up my spine. Nnoooooo...don't kill Wes Seeing the Sandman in his Golden Age uniform...sigh LOOOOOOVED the Hawkman/Green Arrow teamup....wonderful homage to the comics. I think Geoff Johns should write for Smallville full time. Live action Hawkman that doesn't involve Adam West...woo-hooooooo!!! Dr. Fate was cool...really thought it was smart the way Kent Nelson was nutso...REALLY liked the way the helmet keyed on Clark when he was peeping on it. Wonderful the way Sylvester saved Cloe.

I sure hope we get to see Atom in his GA uniform next!! And GL, too....Live action golden age GL....mmmmmmmm!!!!

I wonder if some of the folks they referenced won't be able to appear because of liscensing. A lot of the big time DC heroes (Bats, Supes, etc.) are all individual intellectual properties with their own liscensing procedures.

I about shit a brick thinking I was seeing the first live-action appearance of Jack Knight when Sylvester showed up with the long coat and the cosmic rod.

I thought it was nice that they kind of combined the two.

And nobody has mentioned the GA Red Tornado....what a wonderful touch.
