X-Men 2: The Waiting Is the Hardest Part (Tom Petty Reference)

Why are they doing this to us? Two-plus years waiting for Lord of the Rings, and now we're less than two weeks. Every moment is an eternity, if you're like me, sitting in the dark, counting the seconds.
They just announced a release date for the X-Men sequel: May 2, 2003.

Bryan Singer is directing again, and the whole cast is back, with the exception of Tyler Mane and Ray Park, I believe. And there's no other information. None.

Must we be tormented so? I think it would be better if they didn't even tell us they were working on the movie until a week before it was going to come out. They'd still sell all the tickets they needed to sell.

More, even, out of pure shock!

I am a genius.
