Six Degrees of E.T. to E.R.
Contest Hosted by Joe Crowe

Hah. Give me a challenge. Anthony Edwards was in the Revenge of the Nerds film series, where several mentions of E.T. were made. He also plays Dr. Green on E.R. Hah. Now go away, or I shall taunt you for a second time! (bblatt11@aol.com)

Truly, whilst I survey my kingdom, there is nothing I enjoy more than Revenge of the Nerds.

However, at this moment it has been nearly 2 hours since I last viewed Nerds, and I do not recall any mentions of E.T. at any time. Unless Booger was referring to the woods where E.T.'s ship picked him up when he screamed "WE HAVE BUSH!"

Too easy. ET was directed by Steven Spielberg. Spielberg directed Jurassic Park, which was based on a Michael Crichton book. Crichton created E.R. Word to your mother. (smarko98@aol.com)

Steven Spielberg directed E.T., also Jurassic Park, based on Michael Crichton's (sp?) novel. Michael Crichton is the producer of E.R. I hate to gloat, but that was way too easy. (arimmer5@aol.com)

What a coincidence. I hate for you to gloat, too. Both of you, TO THE DRAB ROOM!

They both begin with a vowel? No wait, E.T. was bald and Dr. Boring is too... yeah! (shrugging shoulders) (lilsnak@aol.com)

John Williams composed the score to E.T.
John Williams composed the score for Jurassic Park, which was the movie version of the Michael Crichton book by the same name.
Michael Crichton was one of the original executive producers of ER. (etoilepaix@aol.com)

Steven Spielberg directed both E.T. and Saving Private Ryan, the latter of which starred Tom Hanks. Tom Hanks co-starred in Punchline with Sally Field, who has a recurring role on E.R. (jeremy@lemmingventures.com)

Drew Barrymore was in ET. She was also in Batman Forever as Sugar, one of Two Face's henchwomen. Chris O'Donnel played Robin in that movie and in the painfully bad Batman and Robin. Batman and Robin had George Clooney as Batman, and he was in ER till he got to big for TV. (bessellieu@excite.com and theonlynolan@yahoo.com)

How many times will you receive entries that involve Steven Spielberg collaborating with M. Crichton (who produces E.R) on Lost World and Jurassic Park?
Let's be a little creative:

Hmmm. Your proposal intrigues me.

Drew Barrymore was Gertie in ET, she was also Casey Becker in Scream. Courteney Cox was Gale Weathers in Scream, she is also Monica Geller on Friends, which has guest-starred both George Clooney and Noah Wyle, who starred in multiple seasons of E.R. (c_calthrop@hotmail.com)

Drew Barrymore starred in ET. She also starred in Donnie Darko with Noah Wyle (Wylie?), who plays Dr. Carter on ER. (kjkearney@home.com and mock@springmail.com)
