The first Ultraman restaurant outside Japan opened in Hong Kong.
Ultraman was created in 1966. He's Japan's Superman. They serve omelets and spaghetti bolognaise. Hopefully not together.
The kids dig him because he fights monsters, and the parents dig him because he fought monsters when they were kids.
"The funniest and most memorable moment for me is when we play the song, the kids all start singing together," says the restaurant's owner. He did not reveal at what point the bellwoing of of cartoon songs by children makes him want to harm himself.
Meanwhile in Japan, Ultraman's legs are pillars inside the restaurant. So what this says is, you can eat food from between Ultraman's legs.
So let's not complain, the next time we have to pay 50 bucks at Chuck E. Cheese, as his crotch stays very far away from us.
