Trailer Probe : Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Undead
© Joe Crowe
May 28, 2010

Trailer Probe watches nerdy trailers so you can have time to text while you drive. Geek explosion content is the good parts. Dork disengagement level is the bad parts. Geek parts per million is the total amount of nerdy enjoyment.

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Undead

Geek explosion content: Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead is a play about "two idiots who were hired to spy on Hamlet."

This one is about that play. And vampires.

If the movie is half as clever as the title, this will be worth seeing. -- Peggy Hailey

I'm a big Shakespeare fan, and a big fan of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. So I dunno. You think I'll like it? -- Dave Farnell

It looks goofy and fun. I'm in. -- Joe Crowe

It has Ralph Macchio! This could be the next Shaun of the Dead or Clerks if it works. And the website's display of a bookshelf worth of festival stickers leads me to believe it does. -- Deanna Toxopeus

Dork disengagement level: Ralph Macchio is in it! If he was in my movie, that's all I would show in any trailer. Just a minute and a half of Ralph Macchio.

People, he waxed on and waxed off.

Devon Aoki from Sin City is in it, but apparently she is not killing or kicking. That is an outrage.

Geek explosion level: 750,000 geek parts per million.
