Trailer Probe: Tucker and Dale vs. Evil

November 13, 2009

Trailer Probe watches sci-fi-ish movie trailers to help you waste your computer time wisely. Geek explosion content is reasons you will like it, dork disengagement level is why you won't.

Tucker and Dale vs. Evil

Dork disengagement level: Slasher movie fans need not watch if you find nothing amusing about your favorite genre.

So if you take it seriously, and go nut-bonkers when people make fun of it, please hide the butcher knife before watching this trailer.

Wait. Get someone else to hide the butcher knife. That's better.

Geek explosion content: Wash and Sock vs. teenagers!

"It's just a cabin. It doesn't mean they're psycho killers."

Alan Tudyk, Wash from Firefly and Tyler Labine, Sock from Reaper play good ol' boys with a cabin in the woods, and slasher-flick typical college kids encounter them and think they're slasher-flick psychos. Then they accidentally kill themselves and each other. But they think Sock and Wash are doing the killings.

Sock and Wash are adorably good in everything they do already. But this movie has them all at once. It looks hee-larious.

"I've never stood so close to pure evil."

I found nothing about when the movie is coming out. But when it does, you will want to go to there.

"Damn it, Dale! What is the matter with you?"

Geek explosion level: 900,000 geek parts per million.
