First American Writer Gets Jack Trevor Story Prize, Ambushed by Moorcock
Michael Moorcock presented the Jack Trevor Story Memorial Prize, to Howard Waldrop at ArmadilloCon. Waldrop is the first American writer to get the prize, about $1000.
Moorcock gives out the prize named for the British novelist. Moorcock explained the prerequisites for the award are that "the money shall be spent in a week to a fortnight and the author have nothing to show for it."
Moorcock delivered it to Waldrop in a thermos. That is awesome.

The drug runners could have smuggled way more drugs if they bought a zillion Spawn comics from the 1990s. They could get them cheap, and no one would ever look in them.
