RevolutionSF Newsblast is the only sci-fi news that knows how to spell without spell check. How do you like that, every other sci-fi news cutter and paster? Today's sponsor: The CryoBev 3000. It cools your beer as you drink it. At least, it will when RevSF's Matthew Bey perfects it. It requires plenty of testing.

New GI Joe Cartoon Includes Stabbing, Warren Ellis

GI Joe Resolute is a new Joe cartoon on Adult Swim. It's written by renowned comic book-writing wack-a-doo Warren Ellis. The only drawback is it's like 5 minutes, like they did with Clone Wars. The five minute thing I can get around, because that's 5 more minutes of Snake-Eyes than we've had in 20 years.

The Hasbro press release says it's for older fans. Aw. That is so nice.

Wanted 2: Heffalumps Beware

Wanted 2 will be written by the writer of Pooh's Heffalump Movie. He's perfect for Wanted 2. Wesley from Wanted is Piglet, Rabbit is Sloan, and Angelina Jolie is Tigger. Oh yeah. Angelina Jolie is definitely Tigger.

No Old Actors in Deathly Hallows Movie

For the last scene in the last Harry Potter movie, the one where the grown-up Potter and friends hang out OMG spoilerz!!!!! For the last scene in the last Harry Potter movie, where something happens, the original cast will play themselves as their older selves. So there will be no elderly, drooling 30 year olds.

No Buffy Movie Until Joss Whedon Says Buffy Movie

Joss Whedon kilt him a rumor when he said there is no Buffy movie, and there shan't be one until he announces it. How do you like that, every website on the Internet?

King Arthur in Live Action on Cartoon Network; I Blame Morgaine Le Fay

Cartoon Network will air Reborn, a live action King Arthur movie. See what RevSF's Geek Curmudgeon thinks. I am all in, because I have not seen a new take on King Arthur in days.

The wonderful thing about RevolutionSF's Joe Crowe is that RevolutionSF's Joe Crowe is a wonderful thing.

I'll apologize in advance for the venom in this comment, but the Harry Potter poducers obviously were thinking ahead. By the time the last Potter movie is made, the original actors WILL BE old enough to play their characters at the end of the story!

You know... I wonder why Cartoon Network doesn't try to pick up "Camelot 3000" -- riiiiiight. That would require common sense. As Emily Litella said, "Never mind..."

As long as they get in thirty or forty quality kills, I can live with five minutes' length... did that come out as bloodthirsty?
