Trailer Probe : Warehouse 13

Trailer Probe rates geek explosion content, reasons you will like it, and dork disengagement level, reasons you won't dig it.

Warehouse 13

Dork disengagement level: A wacky guy and a humorless girl. Again.

That relationship has been done in Farscape, Bones, X-Files, Fringe, Eleventh Hour, and Jeffersons

The guy could be a stick-in-the-mud and the girl could be funny. That is rare. Only Middleman comes to mind.

But if I can stop fussing about that for just one second: This looks fun. Maybe it's fun because Caprica will be so not fun.

Geek explosion content:"Drop the cone . . . thing."

Mismatched agents and a wacky caretaker guard a warehouse of sci-fi stuff like they put the Ark in at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Bianca from Dresden Files gets a job!

I like the premise. The trailer is funny. And Rockne S. O'Bannon from Farscape is in charge. I'm in.

Geek explosion level: 800,000 geek parts per million.

What number appears here?

I weep bitter tears at the thought of Dresden Files no longer being with us. Later, I shall utter sobs of impotent rage at this dreck,, then seek out my Area 52 comic book mini-series, for re-reading, to remind myself of how this can be done RIGHT.
