So there are apparently plans for a Battlestar Galactica theatrical movie. But it's the 1978 TV show, not the less stinky new TV show that is awesome and we love.
When the rumors abounded years ago that they were doing a new BSG TV series, fans lost their frakking minds, and frakking was not even a nerd cuss word then.
Organized fans of original BSG officially objected and said they would never, ever watch such a travesty. They insisted the people with money should give all that money to Richard Hatch, who made a sequel story and trailer with the original cast.
Then the new show came on and the old fans either became fans of the new one or shut their yaps, because, well, the new one is pretty good.
And Richard Hatch is in the new one, in an excellent, excellent supporting role.
So now if the old one is a new movie we're back into the old, swirling vortex of misery. This is all because of the new Star Trek movie, obviously.
So take all that coolness and get rid of it, and here we are again.
The Cylons better not be beautiful!
They better still say felgercarb and micron. Felgercarb and micron.
The only change I will accept is that Boxey can be all grown up!
It is OK to change anything that happened in Galactica 1980, which should not count.
They better not make Starbuck a girl! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! That would never happen.
If they fail to address my needs, I will start a petition on Geocities!
