RevolutionSF Newsblast provides sci-fi news with a breath of sarcastic fresh air. Today's sponsor: Ghostbusters cheerleaders. At long last, a reason to watch football!

Heroes Gives The Ol' Bootski to Comic Book Guy, One Other Guy

Heroes producers Jeph Loeb and Jesse Alexander were kicked to the curb. Maybe the Heroes people just didn't like comic book writer Loeb's Red Hulk.

Both were on the show since it started. So it's possible they were to blame for Mohinder's Here Is What Tonight's Show Is About narration at the start of every episode.

Doctor Who Hangs Up His Scrubs

That's the headline everywhere on the Internet would use if David Tennant played a doctor on Grey's Anatomy.

Babylon 5 Guy Writes Forbidden Planet Remake

J. Michael Straczynski is Mr. Big Shot Hollywood since he wrote Changeling with Angelina Jolie. As Rick Klaw pointed out, the thing didn't even have Beast Boy from Teen Titans in it. It had no actual transforming people of any kind. Ripoff.

But now he's been pulled back into the vortex of geekitude by Forbidden Planet. If this movie does not also have Leslie Nielsen, I will rampage. That is all.

The fool! The meddling idiot! As though RevolutionSF's Joe Crowe could contain the secrets of the Krell!
