Electric Ant Comic Book Like Story, But Different

David Mack will adapt Philip K. Dick's story "Electric Ant" for Marvel. He said, "It is not identical to the short story, but we decided early on that it was going to be very true to the source material." I think instead of setting up fans like that, an adapter should say "I did whatever I felt like, so up yours." Then we won't go in with our hopes all up. Hope is bad.

Terminator Movie Has Batman vs. Robots

The Terminator Salvation costar Sam Worthington said Christian Bale had to play John Connor because the movie "isn't for pansies." That is how you promote a movie. I think I am not a pansy, so I will go see it. If I see it, and I cannot handle it, then my pansy status is confirmed. So this is an important movie for me.

Wonder Woman Cartoon Written By Someone Who Writes Wonder Woman

The Wonder Woman cartoon DVD (set for Feb. 2009) is written by Gail Simone, who right now is writer of the Wonder Woman comic book. That is hilarious. Next you'll tell me a woman will do her voice.

Middleman: Not Canceled Yet

At a Middleman panel, the producer said the ratings are "not spectacular but they are there." In other words, the ratings are not spectacular. They said it was the most critically acclaimed show on ABC Family. That's like saying ECW has the most wrestling on the Sci Fi Channel.

Michael Rymer from Battlestar Galactica will direct the Witchblade movie and it might be out in 2009.
