Smallville, Supernatural Not Cancelled; Sarah Connor Foresees Apocalypse

Smallville and Supernatural were renewed by the CW for 2008. Which means more handsome young fellows on Supernatural and more Clark being stupid about Lana on Smallville

The upside: More live-action Martian Manhunter.

Conspicuously absent in the announcement: Reaper, the wacky show about a guy whose mom and dad sold his soul to the devil and hijinks ensue. It also guest-starred Booger from Revenge of the Nerds.

Fox said they likely will not announce what shows they renew until May, even though most of the other networks are doing it already.

So no official word, probably, about the fate of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles until then.

The show is about averting the future apocalypse. Obviously, Fox owns Skynet.

Meanwhile, go to the Facebook and support the Save Sarah Connor Chronicles campaign.

What does Summer Glau, veteran of Fox cancellation with Firefly, have to do for those people? She was nekkid from far away in the first episode!

I have covered Fox cancelling sci-fi shows for two centuries. Fox always seems to take pleasure in leaving shows teetering on the brink. So good luck with the show with the wacky teenagers butchering popular songs.

Thank you, Fox! May we have another?
