Peter Straub's story of different generations of men haunted by the same woman is a classic, and a rare instance of a film as good as the book. The casting of Alice Krige was brilliant; she was born to play this sexy, vengeful harbinger of doom.

Oliver Onions' story of a writer obsessed with a ghost who ends up possessing him is in nearly every "Best Scary Stories" anthology ever, and rightfully so.

Willis gives an amazing performance as Haley Joel Osment's doctor. We even like the "Hey, stupid" highlight video at the end that shows us all the clues we missed.
