About the Author
The prolific Jay Lake published 20 stories last year and has at least 19 more already scheduled this year, including a 12-part series on Strange Horizons, a story in Realms of Fantasy and a first-place winner in Writers of the Future. His original piece Under the Purplefan Trees appeared here earlier this year. He also has a collection titled Greetings from Lake Wu scheduled for later this year, and in his copious spare time serves as co-editor for the Polyphony anthology series from Wheatland Press. He resides in Portland, Oregon, and maintains his own website here.

About the Artist

Fernando H. Ramirez is a multi-talented artist living in San Antonio, Texas. In addition to his digital illustrations for Revolution SF, he has written and drawn comics for Mojo Press, Vanguard Comics, and Maverick Studios. He has also co-written three screenplays and recently completed a CD of original hard rock music called Ramification. His website is online at www.fernandoramirez.com.
